The Canon Rebel T5 and Canon Rebel T5i are aimed at the entry-level DSLR market. They are part of a previous camera release group and are thus quite affordable. Which Model to Choose In The End?

The T5i does not outperform the T5, except that it is a newer edition of the series and thus must be more advanced in a few additional details. The T5 even has less weight and longer battery life. The plastic construction of these models can generally give the impression of cheapness if we compare them with cameras in the same market, including the Canon Rebel SL series, that are made of metal or full magnesium alloy bodies. Admittedly, many people describe these cameras as being designed for creative people who are willing to sacrifice themselves in order to get a good shot.

The Canon T5 and T5i provide near-professional photo quality. Thanks to their numerous features, they also provide comfort when creating images.
